Picking the collective brain -

What do people know about various e-fax systems/programs? One of the women I work for has efax, and can't stand it. She asked me to find out about other options. I need something that's reliable, easy to understand (she's not a techy by any stretch of the imagination), and can be set secure, for medical information transmission.

Anyone know of possible candidates, before I dive into google and swim about?

Despite its hokey name, myfax.com seems a good service. Jfax/j2 gave good service when I used it some years ago; it also received voice mails and sent them as emails, very nice to be able to save them, rename them, etc.

What is recently terrible is 'faxitnice'. No response to questions, and kept billing my credit card after I cancelled!

Efax was a nuisance, using its own coding. Myfax uses tif or something simple iirc.
