Meet the newest member of my family. Pax Silverfeet Pesach, the passover rabbit (don't blame me, B helped name him.) He's a rather small, mostly black little charmer with a sweet attitude, white paws, and a beautiful nose.

Maybe it was silly to bring him home practically on impulse (although I'd been thinking about getting one for a bit), but it was so nice to see one who wasn't scared of me. I think he may even like me, as much as he can like some random stranger who hauled him out of his cozy home and dragged him through a march storm to a place with cats in it. He's sitting peacefully on my lap. in all the many rabbits I've had in my life, I've never had one who would let me catch them voluntarily, much less one who would just let me hold them without a struggle. (Granted, before Loki, they were all wild orphans. once weaned, forget ever touching them again)
I really hope this little guy learns to get along with the girls quickly, and isn't a book eater, so I can turn him loose during the days when I'm here. But first, I have to get him a checkup, and figure out housing for him.

For now, I take my tired self (3 days straight of house-cleaning. and not even my house) off to bed, after tucking this little bunny into a hutch for the night with some fresh hay...

congratulations, hon. been pondering getting a new family member myself, but stuck with rats. i got a dumbo! you just have to see her, she's a clothing-friendly rat, loves to sleep in sleeves. enoy your new lagamorph, sounds fuzzy and wonderful :)
