It's not your imagination. I'm guessing the problem is 'able'. My mother-in-law will happily tell you that it's one syllable, because the 'e' is silent and there's only one other vowel (and she's a teacher). Clearly, that's wrong.



Either the l is syllablic, or there's a schwa in the pronunciation. Either way, two syllables.

Just my geeking for the night. :)

*applause* I'm impressed...and that explains how that coding error could have popped into something that otherwise seems to always get the count correct.

Ahahhahahaha. *wipes eye*, *coughs*. Excuse me. Anyway, the code is actually quite simple at the moment, but improvements (preferably in the form of patches - the code is GPLd) are greatfully received.
