wow, that was a stupid.

I've been baking since age 5, cooking not long after that. last night was the first time I managed to put my hand down on a burner, one that I'd turned off about 10 seconds before. *whimper*

anyway, I now have lovely curved stripes of blisters on three fingers. and don't ask me about last night's sleep. having to get up periodically to change ice packs is _not_ conducive to getting decent rest.

*grumple*mutter*

and to top it off? the tea I had been making was _lousy_...
